Oman boys score massive win against Maldives


Leading from the front captain Mohammed Sameer guided Oman to a massive 10-wicket victory against Maldives in its opening match of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Under-16 Western Region tournament here on Sunday.
Chasing a meagre 105 to win, Oman raced to the target in just 14 overs thanks to a
superb unbroken opening partnership of 106 between Sameer (61 off 51) and Rushil Dadwal (34 off 33).
Sameer had earlier bowled brilliantly, taking four wickets for just 11 runs while Adeel Abbas bagged two for 20 as Maldives could manage only 104 for 8 in 35 overs.
