MUSCAT: On Friday, Oman Women played vs the UAE Women in their opening game of the ACC WT20 Championship 2022 in Malaysia. Both sides looked evenly poised and up for the grab to get their 1st two points of the tournament.
Winning the toss, Oman asserted themselves to put on a score to ably defend against the heavyweights UAE. Oman got off to a slow start with openers Sakshi Shetty and Fiza Javed looked to settle before going all out. But UAE’s Skipper , was sharp with her subtle bowling changes that put Oman down by 3 wickets for a mere 26 in 8 overs. The rain started pouring in and play was called off at just 8.4 overs to witness of the game. Both teams shared 1 point each coming of a No Result.
