The Women’s T20 Knockout final was held on the Al Amerat Turf 2 ground on the 30th of April 2017. Batting first, Sohar Women’s team scored 127/3 in 20 overs with Anu Amal top scoring with 34. In response, Indian School Ghubra managed 114/5 in 20 overs. Shreya Dhuri top scored with 30* in vain. Anu Amal claimed 3 wickets for Sohar to claim the Women of the match award and enable Sohar’s championship win.
In the prize distribution that followed, Oman Cricket Board of directors and Ex-Indian Captain Mohammed Azharuddin, were on hand to distribute the awards to the winning team.

Oman Cricket Lady Coordinator Vaishali Jesrani said, “Kudos to Women cricket- Sohar for setting a platform for women’s sport. It shows very positive start from Sohar region; the team efforts & commitment will prove better results in the coming years.” She said, “Women’s team from Sohar has talent & skilled players”.
She also thanked the many supporters who witnessed the games for their support towards Women’s Cricket in Oman.
